Joey, Donald, Freddie and James Vaults met in Londons East end. Joey (vocals, guitar) and James (keys) grew up together, in Walthamstow, writing prolifically through their childhood. Seeking out an impressive rhythm section, they met David (bass) and Adam (drums) in Turnpike Lane, where they were living in a dilapidated squat. Upon their eviction in February 2010, and with nothing else to loose, the boys began an intense writing period, which continued for the following 7 months. Locking themselves away under the railway arches of Dalston, and heavily influenced by their combined love 1980's pop and new wave, the band eventually turned their attention to live shows. Vaults submersed themselves into the London music scene, and have brought about a fresh, new and exciting sound - Beatwave.
